170 Regents Park Road, London Primrose Hill, NW1 8XN
SalonAddict recently visited Virginie at Privato Salon in Primrose Hill. After having an excellent coffee we sat down to chat.
How long have you been in business?
We opened in Primrose Hill in July 2009.
30 – 50 glamorous, healthy ladies. Very classy, natural looking.
What makes your salon unique?
The salon design is unique, we have a lovely garden for pedicures where customers can sit out on a sunny day. Also there is our location, and we have a clothes boutique downstairs in the salon.
How would you describe your salon?
Welcoming, Chique, Avant Garde.
Have you ever had any celebrities in the salon?
Of course given our location – Rachel Stevens, Jools Oliver and Helen Fielding to name but a few.
What is your most popular service as the moment?
What is the strangest/funniest customer experience you have had?
I could write a book about that! We had a very hairy man come in for a full body waxing, I could see the therapist start to panic given that he was wearing shorts and his legs were very hairy. We quoted him a fair price of £300 which was cheap given the time it would have taken. Thankfully he decided not to go ahead with it.
What drinks do you serve customers?
Fresh Coffee, Tea, Juice, Wine, Spirits, Red Bull, whatever they want.
What is your top hair care tip?
Use your hands more. Massage the conditioner into your hair with your hands. Before you blow dry your hair use your hands to dry it instead of a brush. This is less mechanical and damaging for your hair. I have loads more secrets but I am keeping them for our customers.
What sort of Parking facilities do you have?
On Street Parking outside which is free on Saturdays.
What credit cards do you accept?
All major Credit Cards, American Express for purchases over £200.
What products do you use/sell in the salon?
Moroccan Oil, GHD, Jurlique, Kerastase, Wella and Tigi.
What magazines do you have for your customers to read?
All the latest magazines, whatever customers want we have it, Vanity Fair etc.
Do you have WiFi for the customers?
Yes we do.
Chalk Farm. From the Tube station turn right and then left onto Bridge Approach, cross the Bridge and cross over to Regents Park Road, we are 200 meters up the road on the left hand side.
After visiting the salon we grabbed lunch in a great delicatessen across the road and had it on Primrose Hill in Regent’s Park. Click on the link to view availability and book Privato Hair & Beauty Salon on SalonAddict.co.uk
