Hebe Hair Salons – 30 Years in Covent Garden
84 Strand Road, Covent Garden, London WC2R 0DW
SalonAddict paid a visit to Hebe Hair Salon where we caught up with Richard Rose, owner of the very successful and respectable hairdressing chain. The salon in Strand Road is 300 meters from Charing Cross Station, across the road from the Adelphi and Vaudeville theatres and very close to Covent Garden. Read on for more information about Hebe Salon and its history!
Tell us a bit about Hebe
“Hebe has been on the British High Street since the 60′s. There were 30 salons back then when Hebe and its main competitor of the day, Vidal Sassoon did battle on the high streets. While Sassoon kept on climbing, Hebe decided to turn on the brakes. In 2003, the original owner Leon Van Geens passed away and the brand was relaunched in 2004. The location on Strand road has been here for 30 years.”
